Due to the weakened state, players will need to dive deeper than has been previously dared if they hope to speak with the god of Light and request her aid. Players are warned that they may encounter drift memories strong enough to impede the player in death, just as they did in life in the story of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker. Once in Thaumazein, Fourchenault will explain that they are standing on the Aetherial Sea, which connects to the Aitiascope via a nearby shaft. Players will learn that the Aitiascope is a device the Forum use to connect with Hydaelyn, but it has recently been weakened by the Calamity. But all was by design, for Her plans from time immemorial were a means to this end, in which man proclaims himself ready to dictate his own future. In testing your power, Hydaelyn has exhausted the last of Her own. He will invite player characters to follow him to the center of Thaumazein. Her talents are many, Her refulgence blinding, but though it is a trial in every sense of the word, you and your comrades triumph. Players can begin the quest " Her Children, One and All" after completing the level 88 quest, " Once Forged." The " Her Children, One and All" quest begins when players find the NPC Fourchenault in Labyrinthos.

The Aitiascope dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is also full of the vengeful spirits of previously defeated enemies.
The dungeon can be unlocked at level 89 during the main scenario quest, " Her Children, One and All." Players should note that the dungeon has a minimum item level restriction of 520 to enter. The Aitiascope dungeon is the fifth dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, located in Elpis.
